University Lions Youth Camp on Camano Island
The University-Ballard Lions Club owns a 23-acre camp on Camano Island that is available without charge for youth groups in the Seattle area. The camp is popular with scout and church groups as well as providing a summer camp site for the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club. The camp serves over 500 youth each year.

Located on Camano Island the Camp is a great place for experiencing the wilderness and can be tailored to any level of “roughing it”.
Open areas for tent camping
The fire circle is the only place on the grounds where an open fire can be built. .
Two heated dormitories make sleeping warm and dry on a cold wet night in the winter.
This heated building has meeting/dining space, a kitchen (equipped with stoves, refrigerators, and sinks), and boys and girls bathrooms (with showers).
Dining area – tables can be set up.
Food can be served through counter in the kitchen.
Bathroom with shower and wash basins.
This program shelter is ideal for summer and wet days. . .

Driving Instructions to the University Lions Youth Camp:
Leave I-5 at the Stanwood exit and turn west onto WA 532
Go about 5.2 miles. At the stop light turn right onto E Cross Island Rd
Go 2.5 miles toN West Camano Dr
Turn left on N West Camano Dr and go 2.4 miles.
The Camp is on the left.
The University Lions is a Not for Profit 501 (c ) (4) under the blanket of the Lions Clubs International. The University Lions Foundation is a 501 (c ) (3)
The University Lions Youth Camp is available, free of cost to any qualified youth group. Reservations must be made in advance. The Caretaker lives on site. The University Lions maintains the right to deny access.
The University Lions meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at the 125th Street Grill located at 12255 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98133. The 1st Wednesday of each month is an evening meeting starting at 6:00. The meeting on the 3rd Wednesday starts at noon and goes until 1:30 pm.
